Video: Arsene Wenger on Bendtner’s Absence, Walcott’s Return Plus Denilson’s ‘Few Weeks’ = 8 weeks

Denilson Out For 2 Months

Denilson Out For 2 Months

We had it at the back of our Arsenal mind. Denilson is set to be out till the end of November. The Brazilian is reported to have suffered a minor fracture in the back. I wonder how long did it take to diagnose that? Its a fortnight since we played against Manchester City on September 12th.

Moving on, Nicklas Bendtner, while driving his Aston Martin, met with a minor road accident when he was dreaming of scoring a thunder against Manchester City from edge of the box and then doing a russian roulette with Arshavin around Adebayor before kicking him on his face with his pink boots till he bleeds and says – “Ah, no emotions Nick?”

There is no serious injury to Bendtner but he will miss the home clash against Olympiakos.

Eduardo should be available instead and the good news is that Theo Walcott can be expected to be back for weekend action against Blackburn Rovers. He is missing match practice according to Arsene Wenger.

Arsene Wenger informs about Bendtner and Walcott in the following video

[Highlights] Fulham 0 – 1 Arsenal and Arsene Says “We can Still Win It”

Master Mannone

Master Mannone

The game belonged to Vito Mannone, our third-choice keeper! And he has kept Arsenal in the league. I love one-nil Arsenal wins and what a joy such 3 points are!

After the match, he admitted his performance against Fulham was the highlight of his career so far. What saves oh boy! With many supporters vouching for Scsheszenszy (?) over Mannone, I always preferred Mannone for his little experience. And the young italian showed today. Applause!!

Below are the MOTD highlights and Persie’s goal

Yeterday, speaking to press, Arsene Wenger said “Arsenal can still win the Premier League”. He is equally capable of saying the same in February even if we are lagging by 16 points. But we are just into the second month of the league. And you (who is reading this), he/she (who thinks about Arsenal more than anything else) and I share Arsene’s view here, unreservedly.

God is a Gooner. Cheers!

Arsenal celebrates Highbury Square opening

Highbury Square

Highbury Square

After 93 years Arsenal moved to Highbury as their football stadium in 1913, Arsenal found its new Home at Ashburton Grove in 2006-07, named as The Emirates Stadium. And at Highbury, the project was initiated to convert the former Arsenal home into 650 high specification one, two and three bedroom apartments and penthouses, with the development being named ‘Highbury Square’.

Today, Arsène Wenger, together with Club Directors and players from Arsenal’s past and present, celebrated the official opening of the Highbury Square. Over 100 invited guests, including current players Robin van Persie and Gael Clichy, together with Arsenal Legends including George Graham, David O’Leary, Frank McLintock, Arthur Shaw, Bob Wilson, John Radford, Eddie Kelly, Kenny Sansom, Perry Groves and Martin Keown, attended the ceremony.

Goalscorers against Baggies - Carling Cup Third Round

Live streaming of Arsenal – baggies match wasn’t available last night. But we still tried in vain. And after thorough search on all the possible destinations for streaming, non-stop twittering, effortless abusing on justintv chatrooms for 2 hours – we got the result.

Senderos almost made a dream return in the early minutes of the game when he powered a header over the bar. He played his first official match of 2009-10 season. All the best to him. I wish he stays at Arsenal.

Former Arsenal player, Jerome Thomas was shown the red card in 38th minute when he pushed Wilshere in the face. West Brom manager has some thoughts on the sending off.

Here are the goals and sending-off:

Arsenal 1 – 0 Baggies
68′ Watt

Arsenal 2- 0 Baggies
76′ Baggies
